I have been reading alot of great books lately and wanted to set up a portal where I could share about thought / mind issues, spiritual things and mental health.
I believe our spirit, mind and body is so connected that our deep seated beliefs, understandings and thoughts rule our body. Our body is more than what food / drink we consume, its comprised of all the things we feed it, including spiritual food. The Bible says "my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (see Hosea 4:6) I believe feeding our spirits righteous inspired is of prime importance.
I do not believe God wants us to have unhealthy bodies, minds or spirit. In fact, this becomes even more applicable if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and you are living a Christian walk! It is your responsibility to care and feed your body, mind and spirit - to whom much is given, much is required. When I was ill in 2005 the Holy Spirit gave me a wonderful experience. He showed me that when I pray, my two hands are together. The reason our hands our together is so the positive (in - flowing) and the negative (out - flowing) of energy we have in our body will close, or complete the circuit, that is needed for our healing. I am working on an art project to be able to graphically present this image and when I get that completed I will present it here in the box to the left.

with trying to understand present / modern day revelation. If you believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ the son, and the Holy Ghost (or Holy Spirit) then you must also know that God hears your prayers and answers you in the "still small voice" (see I Kings 19: 11-12).
Every time I read the Bible, or other sacred books I understand new powerful subjects. One of the reasons I like the online approach to the study of spiritual material, along with books, videos or DVDs is that one can read or view repeatedly. In my opinion this “repeat” factor is very often underestimated. While participating in a one-on-one therapy session, seminar, or other live event the mind captures only certain things, because our mind has the tendency to "to file away" the rest. Reading books or watching pre-recorded material over and over again brings up things that have been "forgotten" or that one only "hears" when a person is "ready".
As an introduction as to why the subject of modern / present day revelation I believe that many of the problems related to organized religions, Eastern based works, American Indian, Save the Earth type and New Age movements, have at their core one distinct difference - some believe we can "talk" with God and others do not.
If you were raised as a Catholic you probably believe that only the Pope can talk with God. If you were raised as a Mormon (or any one of the various Latter Day Saint sects) you no doubt believe that Joseph Smith Jr was a prophet who talked with God, as well as the many other prophets of those churches over the years. But many faiths do not teach that God talks with just anyone - certainly not you. I believe we can talk with God - what else is prayer? To me, it seems there is too much doctrine and study of doctrine and not enough prayer. No wonder kids feel that their prayers just hit the ceiling of their rooms when they pray, they've been taught that God spoke once, to Bible prophets and that was it. Boy, is there a whole other school of thought out there in the world. Has been for years but now its really beginning to get out because Oprah has said she took God "out of the box".
