I'm so glad that you've found my site about Spirit, Mind and Body!

I have been leading what I consider a healthy lifestyle for some time. However, it seems that almost daily I am turned on to new ideas, learn more tips on how to stay healthy or get healthy. For those of you who, like me, are seeking wholeness, I wanted to have a mode of communication with you. I learn and self correct everyday!

I put this site together in order to discuss what I have learned to do, and share with others what I continue to learn. It's divided into three main areas, see the links at the top Spirit, Mind, and Body. My personal health and wellness blog is here too and articles of interest (left column) and links to personal newsletters of mine, along with links to research, informative sites, blogs, books, and more are here (right column) to aid you in your quest to wellness. Know this, nothing is as important as your health!

Can You Get What You Need From Me?

It seems most of the time someone wants something from me. Does that happen to you too?

Spouse, children, parents, boss, clerks, secretaries and salespeople always want something, don't they? All I want to do is ignore their requests and do what I want to do. Obviously, you see there is a direct contradiction here. And this leads to stress, aggravation, irritation, and much more, naturally we try to curb any anger that comes up but sometimes we all get a little fed up.

Well if you feel yourself stressing out, consider this, your body has already been stressed! By the time you have an awareness of stress, and yes any of the preceding emotions, your body has already been fighting the internal warfare. Then when a little bug comes along, guess what? You got it - you get the bug! Why? Because your immune system has been hit from stressors and now it isn't strong enough to fight off infection. Now you see why the mind - body connection is important.

The mind can let go of the stressors before they get a chance to weaken the body systems. And the spirit can be a source of refuge as well as, a guidance system for the mind. Aha!
